Mass Exodus 2017
INTERFACE is a collection mixing colourful prints, hand techniques and contrasting textures to convey ideas of sexual agency and self-preservation. The collection features structured silhouettes and transparent skirts reminiscent of evening wear. The main fabrics are printed neoprene mesh, printed velveteen, printed linen, sequinned mesh and chiffon. The diverse range of fabrics are blended together by black trim and green accents within the prints. The finishing is done mainly by pick stitching and fell stitching the seams to ensure that the lofty neoprene’s silhouette is not interrupted by compressed lines in the fabric.
