The standing ovation design line at Fashion Art Toronto by Padina Bondar addressing deep challenges of womanhood including sexual violence against women. This look is titled underaged birth. All of her work represents the body of a woman. Padina displayed the first rules, the first sexual relation, the pregnancy, abortion, miscarriage, menopause through dresses and the attitude of its models.
Probably the most challenging yet unique conceptual runway I've done so far. Timing and enactment is key to role playing on runway. I can proudly say I've come a long way from where I started. Truly greatful for being part of such thought-provoking and unique collection!
